As a former ballet dancer and teacher, and admittedly, a rigid, Type-A perfectionist, I was hooked by my first yoga class... in a church basement.
The following years were an exploration through varying styles of yoga, meditation and breathwork. With each discovery, I found myself consistently drawn back to the challenge and surrender of being fully present each time I moved, sat or laid on my mat. It was an unmistakable encounter with Love*.
After over a decade of discovering, deepening and practicing later, I found a spiritual surrender that siren called my heart: Spirit-led yoga teacher training. It was within this container of contemplative curiosity in theology and yoga, as well as their intersection, that began the restless call on my heart: to serve where my deepest desires would meet the deep needs of this world, and share the fear-freeing, hope-awakening and deeply healing practice that has brought fullness to my wandering soul.
My yoga and meditation style explores the sacred space of "being", and the relational connection of mind-body-soul-Love-community, through an accessible, every-body-and-all-bodies practice.
My focus is to be a space holder for the embodiment of hope, strength and surrender, guiding our collective focus back to the mystery and miracles of a mindset soaked in Love.
Through movement, meditation and breath, you are invited to work through what's "stuck", surrender the spirals, let striving cease, drop the chase, and arrive 'home' to you - energized, alive, becoming.
life is a garden, and not a maze, because
it. was. finished.
You are accepted. You are free. You can not fail.
let the world be your mat.
and let your gaze rest on Love.
You are the Salt of the Earth.
You were made for Love.*
